How long have we been in business?
We have been in business since 2004. This is a passion of ours and not a hobby. We are committed.
How many full-service weddings do we coordinate each year?
We coordinate approximately 12 full service weddings a year. We plan and execute a total of two events a month, which includes showers, birthday celebrations, corporate events and church functions.
If there is a charge for the initial meeting and you hire us, will this charge be applied to the cost of the service se;ected? There in no charge for the initial meeting. If you hire us, a $250 deposit will be required to reserve your date. If your event is less than two weeks from signing of the contact, full payment is due.
What is our refund, cancellation, and postponement policy?

What if your coordinator becomes ill and can not coordinate the wedding?
We have a team of wedding planners/coordinators and one assistant, so if one of us gets ill and cannot coordinate your event, there are other capable wedding planners/coordinators who can. We've got you covered!
I think I can plan my own event, why should I hire The Experts?
We can help you save valuable time, because you will be given access to a portfolio of area photographers, caterers, bakers, ceremony and reception sites, musicians or anyone in the event planning community. A event planner/wedding consultant is your researcher who helps you find the service professionals who will meet your style, taste and most importantly your budget.
You are given a comprehensive budget analysis that allows you to determine your estimated cost. The knowledge acquired by the consultant’s years of working with the professionals allows you to choose someone who will work with your budget giving you the best service available. Wedding service retailers know the consultant will continue using their product and services only as long as they provide quality at a fair price.
How long does it take to plan an event?
The average event can take more than 200 hours just to plan. Ask yourself if you can afford that time away from your school/work. A professional wedding consultant has the knowledge and experience to take your ideas and dreams, and make them into a reality. Not to mention, The Experts will keep your event flowing with ease. Remember, if you are planning a wedding, the wedding week is full of last minute details that must come together- not by chance- but by clear, unemotional decisions and orchestration. Keeping everyone on task for the wedding day is stressful for the bride and family, but it's a normal day’s work for The Experts.
What is the difference between Wedding Planning and Wedding Coordination?
•
Wedding planning is choosing vendors, reception sites, dresses and other wedding service areas.
•
Wedding coordination is having a certified coordinator attend your wedding activities, including the rehearsal to make sure everything goes as planned.
Wedding coordinators take care of all the big and small details, such as making sure the vendors are doing what they are paid to do, flowers are fresh, the right photos are taken, the bridal party is announced, and all wedding details are in place. Most important, the wedding coordinator’s job is to be sure everyone, especially the bride and groom are happy.
How does The Experts compare to other Wedding Planners?
Typical costs of a wedding planner/coordinator:
For about $1,500, a day-of planner will help create a wedding timeline, confirm with vendors and handle the wedding day.
For about $3,700, a planner will handle the wedding day and offer planning advice and guidance, but will make the couple do the pre-wedding footwork, such as making phone calls.
For about $5,000, a full-service planner will plan the wedding and handle most details and the wedding day. That rate sometimes goes much higher -- possibly $10,000 or more for an in-demand planner with ten years or more experience, according to i-do Weddings.
The cost varies greatly by region. The average total cost for a wedding consultant is $3,636 in the northeast and $2,635 in the south. The national average is $3,262, according to The Association of Bridal Consultants.
Tip: Start looking for a wedding consultant as early as possible. Most wedding consultants cannot handle more than one wedding on a single day, and popular dates and weekends book months in advance.
