Due to the high volume of inquires from aspiring wedding planners, we have developed an Internship Program, whcih you will learn everything about the event planning industry.
 
Being an Event Planner is a wonderful job, but it is very demanding. You must be available to work Friday evenings and Saturdays up to 16 hours.
 
Once you have completed your six months "watch and learn" internship, you will being a six months "hands-on" internship. After you have completed the full one-year internship, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our team.
 
The Experts Event Planners and Wedding Coordinators plans, designs and coordinates events in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our goal is to provide outstanding personal and professional service for our clients.

Intern Experience:
Interns will be given the opportunity to work with professionals from all sectors of the Wedding and Event Industry. The Interns will provide Administrative Support to the Principal Event Planner, and will be exposed to a variety of duties and hands-on experiences that will provide valuable insight and knowledge of the industry.
 
Internship Duration:
  • Term: please see application schedule below
  • Length of Internship: Six months (varies by availability and agreement)
  • Hours Worked Per Week: Not to exceed 25 hours
 
Intern Compensation:
  • No pay (Your pay will be valuable experience which is priceless, and an opportunity to build relationship with other event planning professionals)
  • No Benefits - (This is a temporary position)
 
Preferred Intern Characteristics and Skills:
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self starter
  • Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and the Internet
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and time
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds
  • Good writing skills and experience composing general correspondence
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
